Welcome back to school, 1/2K!

I hope you all had a splendid break and are as excited as I am to embark on a new adventure this term. We have an exciting array of topics lined up that will spark joy and curiosity in our learning journey together.

Firstly, we will explore the fascinating history of the railway and its significant impact on our town. How it has changed and developed over time, and I can’t wait to discover all this information with you!

In Geography, we’ll take a tour of our amazing country by delving into the famous landmarks found in our capital cities. From the majestic Big Ben to the historic Edinburgh Castle, we’ll uncover what makes these places so special and how they reflect the rich heritage of the UK.

English lessons will see us follow Mia on her magical adventures that reading takes her on. Through her stories, we’ll encounter lots of interesting characters and learn how literature can transport us to new worlds. But that’s not all—we’ll put our imaginations to work by creating our very own magical island!

In Math, we’ll transform into Mathmagicians! We will master the concepts of place value, along with addition and subtraction. I promise to make these topics engaging and fun.
