Mrs Hodgson (F1)

Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O!
And on his farm he had a pig, E-I-E-I-O!
With an oink - oink here, and an oink-oink there,
Here an oink there an oink, everywhere an oink-oink.

Our topic throughout the summer term will be ‘Animals’. We will be linking our learning to our book of the week – please continue to follow our ‘Book Journey’ display in our entrance to see the books that we are learning each week.

We are going to be learning all about farm animals through the ‘Farmer Duck’ book, have a ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ and we will be taking a ‘Rumble in the Jungle’.  We are very excited to take part in outstanding learning opportunities throughout the summer term, learning all about different animals and their young as well as exploring where the animals live and how to take care of them.

We will be continuing to follow level 1 and level 2 ‘Twinkl Phonics’ and developing our daily Maths skills.

Frog spawn and caterpillars will be arriving in our Nursery throughout the summer term! We are going to watch them grow and make sure that we take good care of them!

Thank you for your continued support, encouraging your child to complete their targets and continuing to celebrate achievements in their ‘home learning’ books.

Please have a look at our curriculum map below to see what your child will be learning throughout the summer term.

Reminder: Our weekly learning is displayed in our entrance hall. Please check this each week.

We have an open-door policy. If you wish to speak to us about anything, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
