Hello from Miss Elliott! Welcome back to 3/4E!
I hope you have had a chocolate filled Easter Holiday!
I am looking forward to our mysterious moments with our class book "Black Powder" by Ally Sherrick

England, 1605: 12-year-old Tom must save his father from hanging. He falls in with a mysterious stranger – the Falcon – who promises to help him in exchange for his service. But on the long journey to London, Tom discovers the Falcon’s true mission – and a plot to blow up Parliament with barrels of black powder. Tom faces a terrible decision: secure his father’s release, or stop the assassination of the king …
How can I help my child at home?
Your child needs to be reading at least 5 times a week (I have prizes!)
Make sure your child is completing their written spelling and online Times Tables Rockstars homework (20 minutes at least – I have prizes for this too!)
Children in Year 4 should start to complete as many extra times tables practice in preparation for their MTC THIS YEAR! (We are going to ace it!)
. *Remember*
To complete your homework, read five times every week, arrive in the correct PE Kit and have an attendance of 96% or above to be our ‘In It To Win It’!
